Spar Store Manager


As a key member of our retail team, we are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Store Manager to join our Spar store at Junction 14 Mayfield.


Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the store, including supervising staff, managing stock levels, and maintaining high standards of customer service.


  • Manage and motivate a team of retail staff to achieve sales targets and deliver excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Team Management:

• Supervise and motivate a team of retail staff to achieve sales targets and deliver excellent customer service.


Store Operations:

• Manage and maintain stock levels, including ordering and receiving goods.

• Ensure the store is clean, tidy, and well-presented at all times.


Customer Service:

• Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.


Communication and Reporting:

• Maintain open and effective communication with the store management team and other stakeholders.

• Prepare and submit regular reports on sales performance, stock levels, and customer feedback.


Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 2 years' experience in a similar retail or management position.

Strong leadership and motivational skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels.

Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality service to customers.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
