As part of their expanding ambition, they have recently opened a state of the art convenience store and are looking to appoint an experienced Store Manager to drive this team.

As the new Store Manager, you will play a key role in shaping and developing this new store from the ground up, while contributing to the groups continued expansion.

We are seeking an experienced Convenience Store Manager or Fresh Food Manager who can demonstrate a strong track record in leading large teams and achieving sales results. Yearly base salary Neg DOE, 45,000 - 50,000

• Responsibilities for this Retail Store Manager Job:
• Ensure the retail store runs efficiently and smoothly.
• Ensuring the store reaches maximum profitability and achieves other financial objectives
• Working closely with your stakeholders in the brand to get the best services and support to help grow sales and profitability
• Ensuring your team demonstrates excellent standards in merchandising, customer service, and hygiene that reflect well on the group's reputation
• Managing all HR, H&S related queries, ensuring your retail shop is compliant with all these matters.

Requirements for this Retail Store Manager Job:

• Must be a proven and experienced Retail Grocery Store Manager in a similar retail food environment who understands food safety, product range and customer expectations of this leading retail brand
• Excellent organisation and leadership skills are a must, must possess the ability to lead and motivate multiple teams under them, such as deli charge hands, Assistant Managers, and Supervisors and other senior staff.
• Commercially astute, looking for opportunities to increase revenue by knowing the retail landscape, and managing costs effectively, and using your supplier network to your advantage.
• Working knowledge of Labour Law, Health & Safety regulations, HACCP, and Consumer Law
