Senior Structural Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Design Engineer to join our team in North County Dublin.

  • Develop custom design solutions for large-scale building projects.
  • Collaborate with client-side design teams to align technical solutions with architectural and structural requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure designs are optimised for production, transport, and installation.
  • Take part in concept development and detailed design phases.
  • Prepare structural calculations and review drawings for final production.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or a related field).
  • 10 years of experience in a structural design role with exposure to Reinforced concrete and Steel design.
  • Familiarity with Eurocodes and Building Regulations.
  • Proficiency in relevant software (e.g. AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla, Excel, SketchUp).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside senior engineers and experienced designers on high-value projects. Some travel within Ireland and the UK may be required for site meetings and inspections.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver projects efficiently.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • At least 10 years of experience in structural design.
  • Strong expertise in reinforced concrete and steel design.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
