Rating Specialist Role

Funds and financial services are at the heart of our business.

We’re looking for a skilled analyst to join our team in Dublin, focusing on credit rating research for funds, closed-end funds, and other investment vehicles. Our growing portfolio encompasses various asset strategies, including fixed income securities, private equity, real estate, and middle market lending.

In this role, you will assist with:

  • Credit research on diverse fund types, developing rating and analytical tools like cash flow and asset coverage models.
  • Preparing internal credit memos, publications, and quantitative analysis.
  • Participating in diligence meetings with fund management teams to assess their acumen, risk management skills, and overall strategy execution.
  • Maintaining complex spreadsheets and databases, leveraging collaboration with KBRA experts across sectors.

You will be successful if you have:

  • A bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related fields, with strong analytical skills.
  • One to three years of experience as a credit analyst in fund lending, investing, or structured finance, preferably.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Advanced Excel, SQL, and VBA, with expertise in database querying.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage time and resources effectively.
