About the Role

As a key member of our team, you will oversee the strategic sourcing and procurement of electronic components for our cutting-edge intruder alarm systems.

You will play a pivotal part in forecasting demand, optimising inventory, and supporting product development initiatives, all while contributing to our operational and environmental performance targets.

  • Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies, manage purchase orders, and forecast material needs in collaboration with production and R&D teams.
  • Establish and maintain strong supplier relationships, ensure contract compliance, and identify cost-saving opportunities using tools like Should Cost and Benchmarking.
  • Align procurement strategies with sustainability goals and support Value Added Engineering (VAE) initiatives to enhance product value and efficiency.
  • Work with quality teams to ensure all materials meet strict standards and resolve any supply issues promptly.
  • Leverage data analytics to enhance purchasing decisions, forecast accuracy, and track sustainability and regulatory compliance.
Requirements

We are looking for someone with:

  • Proven experience in procurement of electronic components within a manufacturing or electronics environment.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Experience in material forecasting and inventory management.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with local compliance and regulatory requirements for the UK and Irish markets.
