Senior Social Worker Role

We are seeking experienced Senior Social Workers to join our team in Longford/Westmeath, working with a leading organisation.

This 6-month rolling contract offers the opportunity to work on HSE and Tusla shifts nationwide*, alongside excellent benefits and support.

You will have access to a range of locations and shifts through our app, with potential progression to a permanent position.

This role is ideal for those looking to develop their skills and experience in social care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualised care plans for older adults.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions and support to patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic care.
  • Advocate for patients' rights and access to services.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a level 8 degree in Social Care.
  • 3 years post-qualifying experience to work at Senior Social Worker level 8.
  • CORU registration.
  • Experience in mental health services, preferably with older adults.
  • Strong assessment, intervention, and case management skills.
  • Full driving license and access to own car is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Resident in Ireland and legal right to work in Ireland without restriction.
