About This Role

We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to fill the position of Civil Engineer Specialist.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of tasks including reporting and liaising with senior engineers, reviewing site drawings and specifications, providing technical and structural support, coordinating plant, machinery, and equipment, ordering materials when necessary, and maintaining accurate site records.

Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support:
  • Review site drawings and specifications
  • Provide technical and structural support
  • Site Management:
  • Coordinate plant, machinery, and equipment
  • Order materials when necessary
  • Maintain an accurate site diary
  • Communication:
  • Report and liaise with the Senior Engineer
  • Complete site inductions and briefings
  • Attend site meetings
  • Provide progress reports to the Project Manager
  • Liaise with clients, consultancies, and the public as required

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, have experience with setting out, and be able to use Microsoft Office. You will also need to be extremely motivated and driven to succeed, have strong numeracy skills, and hold a full driving license.
