Job Description

Title: Electrical Engineering Specialist

Location: Ennis, Ireland

Type: Full-Time

Department: Electrical Engineering

Responsibilities
  • Support the Electrical Engineering department and contribute to project deliverables
  • Provide electrical assistance including troubleshooting, project engineering, and project management across all plants
  • Update legacy technologies to current standards
  • Manage electrical projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and contractor coordination
  • Estimate labor hours, plan work, schedule, coordinate, and report
  • Update schematic drawings in AutoCAD
  • Program automation and control systems, improve PLC programs including servo and A/C drives
  • Design, test, commission, and work with current equipment; engineer new technologies
Ideal Candidate
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • At least 5 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer
  • Willingness to travel with a valid passport
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, including Project
  • Knowledge of electrical safety codes and industrial wiring
  • Experience with PLC and HMI applications (RSlinx, RSlogix, Factory Talk View)
  • Experience with PLC & HMI system design, programming, and commissioning
