Pharmacist Position

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist to join our team. As a key member of the dispensary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective delivery of medicines to customers/patients.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be capable of working on own initiative. They will also have great business acumen and be customer/patient focused, with a proven track record within a busy community pharmacy setting.

In this role, you will be required to operate the dispensary in accordance with all legal responsibilities pertaining to the profession of pharmacy. You will also be responsible for interacting with other health professionals and working as part of the pharmacy team (dispensary, retail & online).

The main duties of this role include:

  • To exercise all aspects of law, ethics and codes of practice as set out by the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI).
  • To ensure the safe and effective delivery of medicines to all customers/patients.
  • To support the Superintendent Pharmacist & Pharmacy Owner in following up of rejected claims.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will hold a PSI-approved Pharmacy Qualification and be registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland. They must also have the ability to deal with high volume dispensing and have experience working in a fast-paced environment.
