Dental Nurse Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Dental Nurse to join our team in South Dublin. As a highly skilled professional, you will play a vital role in the success of our dental practice.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide competent chairside assistance during various treatment procedures, anticipating the needs of the dentist and providing support.
  • Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including orthodontic procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Record accurate and detailed dental charting and treatment notes.
  • Maintain a clean and organized dental surgery, following strict infection control protocols.
  • Decontaminate and sterilize dental instruments, equipment, and materials for treatment.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions.
  • Manage and maintain dental supplies and inventory, restocking as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the dental receptionist to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient scheduling.
  • Assist with reception duties where required.
  • Assist with dental laboratory procedures, including pouring and trimming models, and fabricating temporary restorations.

Requirements:

  • A strong command of English language (written and spoken)
  • Previous management experience preferred
  • Comfortable managing an experienced team
  • Business acumen
  • Knowledge of Human Resources and Health & Safety
  • Dental Nursing experience required
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure
