Caring Home Nurse

A dynamic and compassionate nurse is sought to work one on one with children in their own home in Limerick.
This role requires a reliable individual capable of working independently, with previous experience in caring for clients at home an advantage.
We are committed to providing excellent care and supporting our nurses in developing their skills. Experience in Tracheostomy care and airway management is desirable, but training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Airway Management
- Suctioning as required
- Enteral feeding via G-J tube
- Urinary Catheter Management
- Positioning/skin integrity management
- Infection control and disposal of clinical waste
- Pain Management
- CPR using ambu-bag if required
- End of life Care if required
- Working in the home environment
- Professional Boundaries/Confidentiality
Benefits:
- Rates of pay = €31.20 mon-fri days, €35.50 mon-fri nights, Sat days €35.50, Sat nights €35.50, Sun days €45 Sun nights €50
- Mandatory courses available to all our Registered Nurses
- Monthly rosters usually completed in advance
- €100 offered towards annual registration yearly
- PPE Provided
- Up to €500 refer a friend fee provided - If you refer another candidate and if they are activated for work a fee will be awarded up to €500 depending on the candidates qualifications
- Sign on bonus of €250 after 150 hours worked
