Nursing Home Director Role

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing to take on a key leadership role within our organisation.
This exciting opportunity will see the successful candidate work in a state-of-the-art nursing home, where they can contribute significantly to a dynamic and forward-thinking environment.
- Lead internal audits and follow up on results to ensure continuous improvement
- Initial induction of staff and ongoing training and development to enhance their skills
- Promote innovative practice and encourage team members to adopt new approaches
- E nsure implementation and adherence to relevant standards and guidelines
- Maintain regular communication with clinical staff to ensure effective collaboration
- Liaise with marketing teams to maximise opportunities for the organisation
- Develop and implement Health and Safety Policy and fire evacuation plans
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the facility
- Participate in selection and interviewing of staff to identify top talent
Key Qualifications and Skills:
- Qualified Nurse with at least 3 years management experience in care of the older person
- Post registration management qualification in health or a related field
- Excellent Leadership, Organisational and Communication skills
- S sound decision making ability and results driven approach
- Able to work well and promote a positive team environment
