Job Title: Registered Psychiatric Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Psychiatric Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients with mental health conditions.

  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments, develop comprehensive care plans, administer medications as prescribed, and provide therapeutic interventions to promote patient well-being.
  • Engage with families and carers, providing education and support to enhance their understanding of mental health issues.
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, treatments, monitoring vital signs, assessing patient conditions, and intervening as necessary.
  • Collaborate with doctors, healthcare professionals, and families to ensure patient-centered care and optimal outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation, adhering to regulatory standards.
Requirements:
  • Valid registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
  • Essential experience in psychiatric nursing, with a strong understanding of mental health principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care, with a focus on patient-centered practice.
  • Right to live and work in the Republic of Ireland.
