Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Clinical Pharmacology

We are seeking a highly qualified professional to fill the role of Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Clinical Pharmacology.

The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to the design and delivery of teaching modules at both pre-clinical and clinical levels of our undergraduate and graduate entry medicine degree programmes.

Our School of Medicine is one of the largest and most popular programmes in UCD, and we are looking for an individual with a keen interest in medical education and a proven track record of research and publication.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Teaching and assessing students on our undergraduate and graduate entry medicine degree programmes
  • Contributing to the development of new curriculum and assessment methods
  • Engaging in funded research that complements current research expertise in the School
  • Providing leadership and expertise in the implementation of clinical pharmacology research

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A PhD or equivalent qualification in a relevant area
  • A strong track record of research and publication
  • Excellent teaching and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
