Senior Software Engineer Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our Product and Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, with a focus on designing and building well-architected services.

The successful applicant will be responsible for taking initiative to identify and own solutions to problems, partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure requirements meet all parties' needs. They will also act as a resource by advising and mentoring junior engineers to continue building technical capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, maintain, and release well-architected services by writing clean code consistently and following best practices.
  • Take an active role in designing and planning upcoming features, collaborating with stakeholders in all parts of the development process.
  • Partner with internal teams like UX and Product Management to ensure we understand customer needs.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our products to support customers.
  • Work with Practice-specific technologies.

Requirements include a minimum of 5 years of experience in software development using Java or other equivalent programming languages. You should be excited by technology, curious, and eager to learn, with the ability to mentor more junior members of the team.

Strong creative problem-solving skills, solid communication, and excellent attention to detail are essential. Demonstrable experience of delivering complex solutions to customers is required.
