Lead a team of dedicated professionals in delivering exceptional care to individuals with intellectual disabilities.
Job SummaryThis is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned leader to join our organization and make a meaningful impact in the lives of service users.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team, supervising staff and service users, and ensuring the highest standards of care are met.
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate individual who can embody our values and lead by example.
- A degree in Applied Social Studies or relevant qualification, with eligibility for registration;
- Minimum of 3 years' experience working with adults/children with intellectual disabilities;
- Proven managerial skills with at least 3 years' experience at a management level, supported by an appropriate management qualification (minimum QQI level 6);
- Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Full manual driving license.
The Person in Charge will be responsible for:
- Ensuring service users' needs are met;
- Teaching daily living and social skills;
- Establishing positive relationships;
- Engaging in activities;
- Maintaining accurate records;
- Undertaking other tasks as required.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Eligibility for CORU registration;
- Relevant qualifications and experience in the field of intellectual disability care;
- Strong leadership and management skills;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
