  • Leadership Role: As the Team Lead, you will play a central leadership role within the residential team, supporting adults with intellectual disabilities and working closely with families, multidisciplinary teams, and external agencies.
  • Clinical Oversight: Provide clinical oversight, coordinating daily care activities, and ensuring smooth operation of day-to-day care routines.
  • Mentorship: Support and mentor clinical and social care staff, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care and compliance with care plans.
  • Medication Management: Oversee and document the administration of prescribed medication in line with best practices.

  • NMBI Registration: Minimum NMBI Registered Intellectual Disability Nurse.
  • CORU or Social Care Workers Registration: CORU registration or eligibility to register with the Social Care Workers Registration Board (desirable).
  • Experience: Demonstrated experience in disability, or residential care settings.
  • Skillset: Good knowledge of HIQA regulations, safeguarding, and risk management practices. Proven team leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
