We're seeking an experienced Account Handler to join our global brokerage team.
Focused on mentoring less experienced colleagues, sharing expertise, and providing a quality service.
Key Responsibilities- Create documents for new customers, mid-term adjustments, and renewals information.
- Obtain renewal terms, ensure all customer details are recorded accurately, and entered onto the system in a timely fashion.
- Deal with insurer and customer queries about policies, confirm cover, process policies, and chase outstanding documentation when required.
- Address account queries and credit control matters, highlighting concerns to account managers.
- Apply fundamental legal and regulatory policy in relation to internal policies and insurance contracts as required.
- Holding or working towards one of the Chartered Insurance Institute Qualifications is preferred. Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent, with intermediate knowledge of general insurance, London Market, Lloyd's, and Industry products.
- Prior experience in the insurance industry is essential, as is having worked to targets within a regulated framework and achieved Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Risk aware in handling customer information, customer-centric, focused on delivering the best outcome for clients at all times.
- Due diligence-driven, task-focused, results-oriented, and proactive in assisting team members.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, confident in building rapport, strong planning and analytical skills, high accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Proficient in MS Office.
