We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paralegal to join our team in Belfast. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and organized individual who has experience in providing legal advice to senior managers and staff.

">Key Responsibilities
  • Providing high-quality administrative and paralegal support to the Northern Ireland Local Government Commissioner for Standards
  • Supporting the adjudication process
  • Maintaining records and coordinating responses to Subject Access Requests (SARs), Freedom of Information (FOI), and Environmental Information Regulation (EIR) requests
  • Drafting and coordinating responses to information requests under the UK GDPR, FOIA, EIR, and Data Protection Act 2018
  • Maintaining legal information databases and records management

 

">Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum two years' relevant experience of providing legal advice to senior managers and staff
  • Working in a legal or governance administrative role
  • Adhering to confidentiality, data protection, and information handling requirements
  • Using information technology, including remote communication channels
