The Care Management and Operations Lead will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the children's residential service, ensuring compliance with regulations and delivering a high-quality service. This role involves leading the children's residential mainstream service, overseeing all aspects of care, and implementing the company-wide people management strategy.
- Provide strategic leadership and operational management to the children's residential service, focusing on delivering the best possible outcomes for children and young people.
- Develop and implement a quality management system in line with the company's strategy, ensuring compliance with regulatory inspections.
- Work closely with the Group Chief Executive Officer and the Senior Management Team to ensure consistency of standards and quality systems across all houses.
- Implement financial stewardship for the service, optimizing revenue and prudent cost management while delivering a quality service.
The ideal candidate will have a Social Care or equivalent primary degree, at least four years' experience in a children's residential service, and strong business acumen. They will also be proactive and independent, with the ability to combine day-to-day service provision with developing and implementing a strategic direction for the service.
Eligibility Criteria: Have a Social Care or equivalent primary degree to honours level that meets the criteria to be registered as a Social Care Worker with CORU. Will have a minimum of four years' experience at senior management level in a children's residential service.
