Job Description:

Our organization seeks a skilled and experienced CVRT Tester to assume responsibility for vehicle safety inspections in Letterkenny, Ireland.

This is a career-defining opportunity for a qualified mechanic with a passion for ensuring the roadworthiness of HGVs and LGVs.

  • Perform RSA-compliant CVRT tests on commercial vehicles
  • Conduct thorough inspections of braking, steering, suspension, emissions, and lighting systems
  • Accurately record test results using approved IT systems
  • Communicate effectively with drivers and owners regarding testing outcomes and next steps
  • Ensure all testing equipment and facilities are safe and compliant
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Hold a certified qualification in heavy vehicle mechanics
  • Possess a valid CVRT certification or be willing to undergo training
  • At least three years' experience in vehicle testing, diagnostics, or inspection services
  • Demonstrate leadership capabilities or willingness to assume supervisory responsibilities
  • Proven proficiency in IT systems and effective communication skills
  • High attention to detail and strong team-oriented mindset
