Financial Planning and Analysis Role

We are seeking a skilled FP&A Analyst to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, proficiency in financial modeling, and the ability to interpret complex financial data.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Support the Head of Finance in running the annual and quarterly planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Model revenue and expenditure using structured, reliable methods to support accurate financial planning.
  • Analyse historical financial data and industry trends to identify key drivers and improve forecast precision.
  • Collaborate with departmental leaders to gather inputs, validate assumptions, and refine models and forecasts.
  • Work closely with the Controllership team to ensure consistency between planning data and financial reporting.
  • Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual reports including variance analysis and performance metrics.
  • Provide clear, actionable insights into key financial and operational metrics to support decision-making.
  • Maintain and improve financial models that help evaluate business performance and investment scenarios.
  • Partner with teams across the business - including RevOps, GTM, R&D, and People Operations - to understand drivers and align plans.
  • Support business leaders with ad hoc analysis, scenario modelling, and commercial decision support.
What We Are Looking For:
  • Third-level degree, recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) & ideally 2+ years PQE.
  • Experience in FP&A or commercial finance roles, ideally in a SaaS industry or technology sector (or with an interest in either).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting techniques, and advanced Excel skills.
  • A detail-first mindset, where you take pride in getting it right, checking your work, and ensuring it stands up to scrutiny.
  • Curiosity, asking great questions, digging into the numbers, and wanting to understand the business beyond the spreadsheet.
