Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Mechanical Maintenance Technician. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize technical expertise to ensure the smooth operation of electrical systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance of equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to improve system reliability, uptime, and overall plant performance.
  • Maintain safety standards, safe systems, and safe places of work, adhering to industry best practices and regulations.
  • Report and correct unsafe acts & conditions, promoting a culture of safety and responsibility.
  • Maintenance of mechanical functions of the Plant, internally and externally, including preventative maintenance programmes.
  • Maintenance of all Machinery and equipment in the plant, including tool room management, layout, organisation, and inventory balance.
  • Responsible for Tool Room, requisitioning of spare parts, and preparation of computerised stock reports on spare parts.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Full mechanical qualification, such as a certificate or diploma in a relevant field.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple assignments & changing priorities, managing time effectively and meeting deadlines.
  • Organized with excellent attention to detail, following through on all assignments to completion, and maintaining accurate records and reports.
