Senior Procurement Specialist Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Specialist to join our team and manage indirect spend across IT categories. This high-impact role is focused on cost reduction, supplier negotiation, and process improvement within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement category strategy, becoming a subject matter expert in market trends and supplier landscapes.
  • Analyse spend data to identify cost-saving opportunities and drive sourcing initiatives.
  • Support annual budgeting through procurement insights and analytics.
  • Negotiate with suppliers, leveraging external market intelligence where needed.
  • Oversee contracting activities, ensuring robust and compliant agreements.
  • Act as a central point for IT-related procurement, ensuring compliance with procurement policy.
  • Build strong relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor pricing adherence, track savings, and improve supplier performance frameworks.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years' experience managing and negotiating high-value procurement contracts, ideally within IT categories.
  • Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to lead tendering processes and influence cross-functional teams.
