We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Medical Scientist to join our Blood Transfusion Department, which is accredited to ISO 15189 and provides services for the National Orthopaedic Hospital Cappagh and an external Private Hospital.

As a Senior Medical Scientist, you will work closely with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care and support the hospital's mission to provide exceptional healthcare services. You will operate state-of-the-art technology and instrumentation, including Winpath LIS, Q-Pulse, Biorad IH500 and Bloodtrack, and contribute to the hospital's research activities.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in medical science and a minimum of 4 years' experience in a Blood Transfusion laboratory. You will also need to be registered with CORU and have evidence of registration supplied with your application.
