Electrical Design Position

As a seasoned professional in electrical engineering, you will be responsible for the planning and execution of data centre projects from inception to completion.

Main Responsibilities
  • You will work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team on both large and small-scale projects.
  • The design of electrical systems and services for pharmaceutical and mission-critical facilities is also a key aspect of this role.
  • You will provide technical assistance to senior electrical engineers.
  • Implementing quality standards and ensuring adherence to these standards are crucial aspects of your job.
  • You will review and sign off electrical installations during site visits to monitor and review progress.

Qualifications include a third-level degree in electrical engineering or a related field, working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit, 5+ years of experience in heavy industrial engineering design, and demonstrable experience in the complete range of electrical engineering design services.

To succeed in this position, you will need a strong understanding of applicable electrical engineering codes, standards, and industry practices, as well as the ability to undertake value engineering activities and implement new technologies. Strong verbal and written communication skills are also essential. A commitment to safety, quality, and environmental protection is also required.
