This is an exciting opportunity to join our critical systems team as an electrical systems specialist. As a key member of the team, you will play a leading role in ensuring the successful delivery of innovative electrical design solutions on large-scale data centre projects.

As an electrical systems specialist, you will be responsible for managing small to medium-scale projects and teams of engineers to deliver client expectations. You will produce electrical designs, including schematic diagrams, layouts, calculations, specifications, and project reports. Additionally, you will carry out site inspections and surveys, detail design development, and contribute to project meetings.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering (MEng or BEng) and significant experience in an electrical engineering role within the critical systems/data centres. They should have consistently demonstrated their ability to manage projects and teams, produce high-quality electrical designs, and communicate effectively with clients.

In this role, you will work closely with colleagues of various disciplines to drive and manage the delivery of technically excellent and profitable projects. You will monitor budgets and programme, checking designs and communicating with the wider project and client team.

We are looking for an experienced and client-focused electrical engineer who can take ownership of tasks, think around problems, and guide the team towards solutions. The ability to collaborate in a multi-disciplinary design environment is essential, as well as being an organised and confident communicator with client-facing skills.
