MetroLink Delivery Engineer - A Key Role in Transport Infrastructure Development

Job Description

This critical role involves the successful delivery of the Metrolink project. The ideal candidate will possess a high level of technical expertise and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

The MetroLink Delivery Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the timely and effective completion of assigned tasks, which may include design, procurement, installation, and testing of equipment for contractors.

The role requires strong analytical skills, with the ability to monitor performance and quality of design work by contractors and track progress against programme.

A key aspect of this position is participating in reviewing contractor/consultant submissions and supporting the design process, including interface details, technical clarifications, and RFIs.

Essential Requirements
  • Fair character and good health are essential for this role.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience working in an engineering environment, preferably in urban area projects with transport infrastructure experience.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant engineering specifications and standards, coupled with excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills.
  • A relevant degree (NFQ Level 7 or equivalent) in engineering or a related discipline.
