Job Opportunity

The primary function of this position is to conduct thorough and diligent investigations, focusing on cartels and anti-competitive practices within the market.

This includes investigating serious cartel offenses such as price fixing, bid-rigging/tender collusion, and dividing specific customers or geographic areas between competitors.

These actions result in harm to competition and the economy, ultimately affecting consumers and/or the state by limiting their choice of goods and services available or increasing costs.

In addition to investigating cartels, this role also involves examining other horizontal anti-competitive practices and agreements, including hub-and-spoke cartels and coordination decisions by trade associations and professional associations.

The division also considers applications for immunity and leniency, confidential whistleblower information, complaints received, and performs targeted outreach in relation to public procurement.

Investigations involve analyzing data, interviewing witnesses, and gathering evidence to build a case against offending parties.

Effective communication and collaboration with internal teams are essential to achieve successful outcomes.

This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
