Warehouse Operative Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Operative to perform various warehouse duties, including goods receiving, storage, and dispatch. The ideal candidate will have experience in general warehouse operations, hold a valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck license, and possess a full driving license.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Picking, packing, and preparing goods for dispatch
  • Loading and unloading delivery vehicles using a counterbalance forklift
  • Conducting regular stock checks and maintaining accurate inventory records
  • Ensuring all products are stored safely and securely
  • Assisting with incoming deliveries and checking goods against delivery notes
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace
  • Driving company vehicles to deliver or collect goods when required
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment
  • Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck license
  • Full driving license with a clean driving record
  • Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy items when required
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Good communication skills and a strong work ethic
  • Flexibility to work overtime or occasional weekends if required
