Job Title: Climate Change and Sustainability Specialist

Synopsis:

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative professional to join our Climate Change and Sustainability Services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting clients in identifying, measuring, and managing their business and reporting risks as they transition their organisations in response to changing government environmental regulations and new trends in sustainability management and reporting.

This role requires a strong understanding of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles and practices, with experience in sustainability reporting, data analytics, and risk management. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients in identifying and measuring their business and reporting risks related to climate change and sustainability;
  • Develop and implement strategies to help clients manage their ESG risks and opportunities;
  • Provide expertise on sustainability reporting, data analytics, and risk management to clients;
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and deliver client engagements;
  • Maintain and improve knowledge of industry developments and emerging trends in ESG.
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as environmental science, sustainability, or business administration;
  • 2-4 years of experience in a related field, preferably in a consulting or advisory capacity;
  • Strong knowledge of ESG principles and practices, including sustainability reporting and risk management;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with internal stakeholders.
