About the Position:
We are seeking an experienced electrical installation specialist to join our team and contribute to the success of our major projects.
The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in water and wastewater treatment facilities.
A highly varied and challenging role providing invaluable exposure to the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain electrical systems and equipment.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems.
- Cable containment and cabling installations for electrical upgrade works.
- Installation of MCC Panels and General Services Distribution Panels.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with Irish electrical regulations and safety standards.
- Collaborate with Engineers and Project Managers to ensure project success.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Provide technical support and guidance to apprentices and less experienced electricians.
Key Competencies and Skills:
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge of National Rules for Electrical Installations (I.S.).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications:
- Fully qualified electrical trade certifications.
- Safe Pass and Manual Handling certifications.
- Full EU/Irish driving license.
