Day Service Manager Role

Cpl, in partnership with Avista, is seeking an experienced and passionate Day Service Manager to join their team in Limerick.

This role involves leading a dedicated team to deliver high-quality, person-led day services that support independence, inclusion, and individual choice.

  • Lead a team to deliver day services that promote independence and inclusion.
  • Collaborate with the service manager to implement strategic objectives and develop new initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with New Directions standards and national safeguarding guidelines.
  • Support individuals in achieving meaningful outcomes through person-centred planning and community engagement.
  • Oversee service operations including clinical coordination, staffing, and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations and contribute to service development.
  • Supervise and support staff teams to ensure effective performance.
  • Foster partnerships with families, multidisciplinary teams (MDTs), and community stakeholders.
  • Promote inclusion, independence, and advocacy for service users.
  • Monitor and improve service quality and compliance with regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • A relevant professional qualification in Social Care or related field.
  • Proven experience managing services for people with intellectual disabilities.
  • Strong knowledge of New Directions, person-centred supports, and HSE standards.
  • Excellent organisational, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for innovation, inclusion, and empowering others to live their best lives.
