Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced content marketing team lead to join our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in content creation, team management, and strategic planning.

The content marketing team lead will be responsible for developing and executing a content strategy that aligns with our business goals, drives engagement, and fosters brand awareness. This involves managing the content calendar, overseeing content production, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution.

The successful candidate will possess excellent project management skills, be able to create efficient processes for content production and reuse, and have a passion for technology and open source. A portfolio of written work and experience with SEO tools and SEO-driven content calendars is also required.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a content marketing strategy that aligns with business objectives.
  • Manage the content calendar, ensuring timely and high-quality content delivery.
  • Collaborate with web and growth engineering teams to optimize content for search engines.
  • Supervise quarterly content planning sessions and work closely with content specialists and product management.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for the content program.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must have at least 5 years of work experience in content or related roles, preferably at technology companies, with 2+ years of experience as a manager or team lead. A Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a relevant discipline is also required.

  • Necessary Qualifications:
  • Proven experience creating authoritative and engaging content.
  • Applied knowledge of SEO, experience with SEO tools, and SEO-driven content calendars.
  • Excellent project management and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for technology and open source.
