M&E Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking an experienced M&E Coordinator to join our project team in Dublin. As M&E Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of our educational project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough design gap analyses in conjunction with the project team to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the project team to ensure timely release of M&E design information for construction activities.
  • Manage the submission and approval process for all M&E technical equipment and design information as required.
  • Evaluate M&E designs and details to ensure they meet statutory, regulatory, client, and company requirements.
  • Oversee specialist mechanical and electrical sub-contractors' work within our Safety Management System and ensure compliance with all requirements.
  • Develop and maintain accurate minutes of subcontractor meetings.
  • Support project quantity surveys with review and preparation of subcontractor monthly and final accounts.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience working on site with a large-scale construction/engineering organization.
  • Degree qualification or higher in a relevant field.
  • A background in M&E is essential.
  • Previous experience in Residential, Commercial, and/or mixed-use development is preferred.
  • Strong Health and Safety awareness is necessary.
  • A time-served mechanical/electrical background is beneficial.
  • The ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage time productively is essential.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills are required.
  • Experience delivering projects using BIM, Word, Excel, etc. is advantageous.
