Job Title: Fund Accountant

Our organization seeks an experienced Fund Accountant to manage the day-to-day financial operations of our funds. This role requires a highly skilled professional who can handle complex accounting tasks with ease, while maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the preparation of periodic reports and regulatory reports for fund entities;
  • Prepare Net Asset Value calculations and year-end financial statements;
  • Handle tax returns and balances, as well as maintain relevant contacts with tax authorities;
  • Accurately record time spent on client matters to ensure correct invoicing;
  • Proactively take on additional responsibilities and administrative tasks as required by managers or clients.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree level education in Finance, Accounting, or Economics;
  • Relevant experience in fund administration, audit, or fiduciary services;
  • Knowledge of the fund industry, valuation, and accounting;
  • Basic knowledge of accounting for investment products and experience with closed-ended funds in real estate private equity or debt space is advantageous;
  • Understanding of securities commonly encountered in the fund industry, including equities, bonds, contract for difference, options, and futures, and the ability to account for these securities.
