Accounting Position
- We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to join our dynamic finance team, working across various industries and client types.
- The ideal candidate will prepare accurate financial reports and supporting documentation using Excel, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality outputs.
- They will share completed statements with senior colleagues for review and feedback, providing constructive insights to improve performance.
- The selected individual will investigate and interpret complex transactions to ensure the right accounting approach is applied, maintaining accuracy and compliance.
- Contribution to compliance and advisory tax work will be a key responsibility, requiring strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Assistance with preparing a range of tax returns and communication with Revenue on behalf of clients will also be expected, demonstrating exceptional customer service skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting or finance position, with a proven track record of delivering results under pressure.
- Clear, confident communication skills and a professional manner, essential for building strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities, managing competing deadlines and expectations.
- Self-driven with the initiative to work independently, taking ownership of projects and initiatives.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with advanced skills in data analysis and reporting.
- Keen to learn and progress in your career, with a willingness to adapt to new technologies and processes.
Key Qualifications:
- Professional qualification in accounting (e.g. ACCA, CIMA), demonstrating expertise in accounting principles and practices.
- Strong understanding of Irish taxation laws, including current regulations and legislation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make informed decisions.
