Oversee production control and staff management in our Surface Technologies Plant. Our plant is ISO13485/AS9100 certified, specializing in Parylene Coating of Medical and Aerospace products.

Parylene coatings are highly lubricious, dry film, protective conformal coatings applied to various materials. These coatings provide the best thin film conformal coating protection for critical components in industries including Medical Device, Aerospace, Automotive, and Electronics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct supervision of shop floor personnel, monitoring time keeping, productivity, and absence.
  • Ensure team members are trained in and adhere to all Quality System procedures, particularly those impacting product quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide management with accurate processing timings and costing.
  • Implement safety, health, environment, and quality requirements across the department.
  • Perform JHA on existing and new processes.
  • Leverage Lean initiatives to improve safety, quality, and customer indicators, reduce waste, improve processes, and labor efficiencies.
  • Determine appropriate staff levels, schedules, and resources.
  • Establish cross-functional team relationships.
  • Work cross-functionally to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Establish clear accountabilities for direct reports and staffs to motivate and develop through understanding, personal development, and lifelong learning.
  • Ensure department adherence to regulatory and GMP requirements.
  • Drive Operation Growth initiatives within the production area, delivering high-quality functional deliverables.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with either ISO13485 or AS9100.
  • 3 years of management experience.

Leadership Expertise:
Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to motivate and develop team members, and experience working in a regulated industry.
