Job Description

The Electrical Project Engineer will be responsible for planning and coordinating electrical engineering projects from start to finish. This includes developing project plans, timelines, and budgets, as well as ensuring compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Project planning and coordination
  • Project documentation and reporting
  • Development of technical drawings, specifications, and documentation using industry-standard software and BIM tools
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards throughout the design phase
  • Assisting with construction and installation with the construction team
  • Conducting regular site inspections to ensure adherence to project specifications, safety protocols, and quality standards
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field
  • At least 3 years' experience as an Electrical Engineer in the engineering services industry
  • Familiarity with Building Information Modelling (BIM) and other relevant engineering technologies
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders
