Speech Therapist Role Overview
The role of a Speech Therapist is to assess and treat individuals with communication disorders that impact their ability to interact and connect with others.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct informal assessments to identify communication needs and develop personalised therapy plans
- Use interactive tools and exercises to enhance real-life communication skills
- Provide ongoing support and adapt therapy plans as needed to address complex communication difficulties
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care
- Develop and implement tailored interventions for stuttering, voice issues, and delayed language development
- Support social communication and relationship-building through targeted therapies
Requirements
- Degree-qualified Speech Therapist with CORU registration
- Experience in mental health or with complex communication needs
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Passionate about delivering high-quality, evidence-based care
