Job Description:

The successful applicant will play a pivotal role in shaping the fresh produce supply chain to position it as a market leader in Ireland.

Key responsibilities include developing the supply chain to ensure quality, consistency, and competitiveness.

This involves working closely with suppliers and other teams to set standards for fresh produce quality and delivery.

Additionally, you will be responsible for maximising quality opportunities to improve sales within the Fresh Produce Department.

Maintaining tracking and analysis of quality information throughout the supply chain is also crucial.

Developing relationships with direct growers and suppliers to ensure compliance with quality and legality standards is a key aspect of this role.

  • Develop the fresh produce supply chain to position as a market leader from a quality viewpoint
  • Carry out continuous improvement of supplier quality management
  • Maximise quality opportunities for improved sales within the Fresh Produce/Horticulture Department

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a fresh produce role and a degree or qualification in Commercial Horticulture or a similar field.

Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work with cross-functional teams, and flexibility to work on multiple initiatives are essential for success in this role.
