Operations Field Support Manager Job Description

The ideal candidate will oversee the day-to-day activities of retail locations, ensuring efficient and effective operations. Key areas of responsibility include productivity, costs, purchasing, personnel management, sanitation, and general retail location management.

This role requires a strong leader who can provide guidance and direction to facility management and employees. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring daily cleanliness and focused engagement for all stores.
  • Monitoring and reporting competitive activity and communicating significant changes.
  • Recruiting, training, and developing store personnel for all positions.
  • Conducting regular inspections to document compliance with standards.
  • Implementing merchandising practices and standards.

The Operations Field Support Manager will also be responsible for performing store inspections, executing marketing programs, and researching discrepancies. Additionally, this role will involve assuring proper handling of accounting and administrative functions.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business management or equivalent combination of education and industry work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of supervisory and/or retail management experience.
  • Thorough understanding of business and finance principles.
  • Able to travel to each location as needed.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and PDI software.
