Key Role: Senior Civil Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Civil Engineer to lead project teams, manage engineers of varying experience levels, and ensure quality standards and deadlines are met.

Team Management:
  • Mentor junior team members, providing guidance on skills development and equipment requirements.
Project Leadership:
  • Oversee multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality excellence.
  • Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to allocate resources effectively.
Development and Training:
  • Assist in the development of junior team members, identifying training needs and software licenses required.
Project Profitability:
  • Monitor project profitability, striving for efficient resource allocation and timely delivery.
  • Communicate potential billing or labour plan changes to relevant stakeholders.
Client Relations:
  • Maintain high-quality client relationships, contributing to repeat business and new opportunities.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Degree qualified, preferably Chartered or Incorporated with an industry institution such as ICE, IStructE, CIWEM, or CIHT.
  • Strong relevant experience with a proven track record of delivering projects.
  • Proficiency in industry software like Microdrainage, Causeway Flow, Civil 3D, and AutoCAD.
  • Excellent report-writing skills.
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • High proficiency in MS Office products (Excel, Word).
  • Strong teamwork and time management skills.
