We are seeking a seasoned leader to fill the role of Food Service Director. In this position, you will be responsible for driving growth and profitability across our food service sector in Ireland.

Job Overview

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership experience, with a minimum of 5 years of sales operations or financial management experience. A bachelor's degree in business administration, sales, finance, or a related field is desirable but not required.

This is a dynamic leadership role that requires strong strategic planning and execution capabilities. The successful candidate will be able to develop and implement effective strategies to increase market share, volume, and value across all accounts, including canteens, fast-food outlets, cinemas, offices, and vending solutions.

You will lead a team of 10 Key and National Account Managers, providing strategic direction and fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement the Food Service strategy to drive growth and profitability.
  • Operational Management: Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to quality and operational standards.
  • P&L Ownership: Ownership of your sub-channels numbers end-to-end, from delivery of your Forecast accuracy target and delivery of the correct shape P&L to EBIT.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Embedding a culture of growth.
  • Customer Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty. Build an extensive prospect customer pipeline, managing through both team and self, the conversion to trading customer.
  • Product Development: Collaborate with R&D to innovate and enhance the product offerings.
  • Budget Management: Manage the division's budget, ensuring cost-effective operations and financial performance.
  • Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with health, safety, and regulatory standards, along with compliance to internal business policies.
