EHS Specialist Role

We are seeking a seasoned EHS professional to join our team as an EHS Specialist. As the EHS point of contact and owner of numerous cross-site local EHS standards, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with Global Safety and Environment Standards.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing complex EHS programs and have a proven track record of successfully implementing EHS initiatives enterprise-wide. They will also possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a customer-focused approach.

  • Complete EHS gap assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with regulations and industry best practices.
  • Compile and submit required safety, health, and environmental reports to corporate and regulatory agencies.
  • Assist with managing contractor EHS compliance and related high-risk work HRW safety procedures.
  • Develop and implement effective EHS training programs to enhance employee knowledge and awareness.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), Occupational Health and Safety (OHS), or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of EHS experience in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology/chemical industries.
  • Strong understanding of EHS laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
