Our Job Description

  1. We're looking for a Corporate Tax Manager to lead our tax services department, providing expert tax planning and consultancy services to our clients.

Responsibilities

  1. Direct and manage our tax services team, ensuring we meet all regulatory requirements.
  2. Develop and implement effective tax planning strategies for our clients.
  3. Review and prepare tax returns, VAT, corporate tax, income tax, and other tax filings.
  4. Analyze complex tax issues and provide valuable insights to our clients.
  5. Collaborate with our audit and accounting teams to address tax-related concerns.
  6. Build and maintain strong relationships with our clients, serving as their primary point of contact.
  7. Communicate effectively with Revenue Commissioners and other relevant authorities.
  8. Identify tax savings opportunities and develop risk management strategies for our clients.
  9. Mentor and train junior tax professionals within our firm.
  10. Stay up-to-date on tax laws and industry developments.

Qualifications and Skills

  1. Hold a professional tax qualification (e.g., CTA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
  2. Have at least 5 years of experience in tax, preferably within a practice environment.
  3. Be knowledgeable about Irish tax laws and regulations.
  4. Have experience in corporate and personal tax planning and compliance.
  5. possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  6. Demonstrate strong leadership and team management abilities.
  7. Be able to work independently and manage multiple client engagements.
  8. Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  9. Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
