Job Title: Senior Manager - Financial Reporting

 

About the Role:

As a Senior Manager in our Financial Reporting team, you will play a pivotal role in leading process improvement initiatives and ensuring timely and accurate deliverables. Your primary contact for day-to-day reporting matters, you will lead cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead process improvement initiatives across the department to optimize financial reporting processes.
  • Act as primary contact for day-to-day reporting matters, coordinating with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare and coordinate financial reporting deliverables for clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Support resource planning and workload allocation within the team to drive efficiency.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and preferences.
  • Review and ensure accuracy of financial statement workings and reports, maintaining high standards.
  • Monitor deadlines to ensure timely and accurate deliverables, managing competing priorities effectively.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor team members to reach their full potential, fostering a culture of growth and development.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in finance, accounting, mathematics, or related fields.
  • Professional qualification in ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or CFA.
  • Strong computer skills with expertise in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and Word.
  • In-depth understanding of the fund administration industry, including FRS 102, US GAAP, Lux GAAP, and IFRS.
  • Experience with accounting software such as Geneva, Investran, or Yardi is an advantage.
