As a Senior Software Systems Developer, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge hardware and software technologies to integrate shop floor systems seamlessly within the organization, ensuring optimal operational and business performance.

You will be responsible for integrating control system and ERP system data, documenting potential impacts to manufacturing systems, and communicating effectively with business users.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop software features associated with manufacturing processes, primarily MES Camstar / Siemens Opcenter & Mendix, supporting multiple manufacturing sites.
• Integrate control system and ERP system data.
• Evaluate and document potential impacts to manufacturing systems.
• Partner with the MES Camstar / Siemens Opcenter support team in providing manufacturing execution systems administration, deployment and maintenance for development, test and production environments including both application tier and database tier across global manufacturing sites.
• Modify or build new configurations/workflows in the MES solution to support continuous improvement to manufacturing processes.
• Participate in activities required to support production, including but not limited to troubleshooting, investigations, MES Camstar / Siemens Opcenter users support, periodic reviews, root cause analysis, preventive and corrective actions.
• Create/review test plans and scripts, conduct testing of the solution to ensure the functional and technical specifications are met.

Requirements

• 5+ years of applied experience in manufacturing and MES technologies, including automated data collection, visualization, quality and efficiency.
• 3+ years of experience with Siemens Opcenter (Camstar), 3+ years of SQL Server experience, experience with Mendix preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, and a minimum of 5-8 years related experience or Master's degree and 2-5 years equivalent industry experience or a PhD and 0-2 years experience.
• Knowledgeable with manufacturing and MOM solutions, including automated data collection, visualization, quality and efficiency.
• Familiar with SDLC and validation & verification procedures (URS, FDS, TDS, FUT, SIT, etc).
• Excellent team-oriented communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical users.
• Hands-on demeanor and able to troubleshoot software applications.
