Role Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Vendor Management efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with service providers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services and innovation opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain collaborative partnerships with service providers to drive strategic goals and operational requirements.
  • Lead negotiations and contract management on behalf of senior stakeholders, ensuring value and advancing strategic objectives.
  • Establish robust oversight mechanisms to ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Cultivate vendor performance through thorough evaluations, collaboration with internal stakeholders, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Promote best-in-class service levels and partnership excellence by steering change processes and owning order agreements.
  • Monitor costs and drive financial efficiency within budgetary constraints while driving value throughout the relationship.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in the Insurance or Financial Services industry or in a regulatory environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or other relevant qualification.
  • Previous people or performance management experience.
  • A strong sense of ownership, learning agility, and proactive approach.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience working with service providers in a vendor management context.
  • Understanding of the regulatory landscape, governance frameworks, and associated risk management within the financial services industry.
  • Experience collaborating with teams across various countries, demonstrating adaptability, and fostering strong cross-cultural relationships.
  • Ability to engage with senior stakeholders by delivering updates and preparing presentations when required.
