In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of home support workers, ensuring the highest standards of client care and support, and overseeing the day-to-day operations of client services.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have experience in supervising teams and managing day-to-day operations, as well as a strong understanding of care planning and service delivery. They will also be required to maintain accurate records and documentation related to client care and staff performance.

Responsibilities and Qualifications
  • Supervise and support a team of caregivers, ensuring compliance with care plans and service standards.
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations of client needs and satisfaction.
  • Coordinate scheduling and allocate resources effectively to meet client requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to client care and staff performance.
  • Serve as a liaison between clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Address any issues or concerns promptly, fostering a culture of open communication and feedback.
  • QQI level 5 (major award) qualified in a Healthcare related field and Level 6 certified.
  • A relevant health or social care background.
  • A caring and empathetic nature.
  • Experience within homecare/healthcare desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A full clean driving licence and own car.
  • Living in Ireland and being legally eligible to work in Ireland with the required documentation.
